Backyard Barn

Today all odds were against me. I got ill and had to go back to work after making dinner. Not having much time, I took my pochade box to the backyard and painted away. Luckily, it was not very cold and the sun was out. I've been wanting to paint our red barn house. Adjacent to the barn is our neighbors sea-green color house. I've always loved the contrast with our little barn. It's almost like it was always meant to be painted. The picture does not do this little painting justice. The sea green and red tone is much more livelier in person.
